Are you driving with a valid drivers license?
A foreign drivers license is considered “Valid” for only 90 days. The inspector may ask for a copy of your passport to verify how long you have been in Panama.
Residents should remember to check the “fecha de Vencimento” of your Panama drivers license. Panama Auto Insurance is not valid while driving with an EXPIRED drivers license!
Do not lend your vehicle to drivers who cannot demonstrate a valid license!
